What's in my purse?

That would be today's blog challenge question.
I have my wallet, my pill box, my knife, my calendar, keys, ipod touch, digital camera, cell phone, a few pens, my discount card holder, and an envelope with receipts and coupons.  That's it.

All time favorite photo

Today's subject is an all time favorite photo of myself.  I don't have a favorite all time photo of myself.  I've never thought myself very photographic and have never really liked photos of myself.

But this photo was taken last April in Western NC.  In the photo, my daughter, youngest son, my husband, and myself.

Nicknames

Nicknames - none of my children have nicknames - I went by Katie growing up and now go by Katherine.  My husband went by Robby growing up and now goes by George.  


We just chose names for 3 of our 4 children that are hard to have nicknames for.  Hawk, Roger, and Tarver.  Thomas, our youngest, could have gone by Tom or Tommy; but he never seemed like anything but a Thomas.  


So, another post in the challenge - such a boring post at that.   And my ramblings continue.

Something you miss

As you can see, it isn't a thing.  But every day I miss my parents.  They were taken from our family to early.

Saturday

I didn't get my daily challenge done yesterday, Saturday, as I was busy with family all day.  It was a glorious day and we spent most of it outside enjoying the weather on the two pieces of furniture that I painted on Friday.

Today's Challenge

Favorite Place to Eat - My absolute favorite place to eat is my dining room, especially if when my husband has grilled out steak.


My favorite place to eat out here in New Bern, I love Capt. Ratty's and Morgan's.  Both downtown eateries, both have delicious steaks.


My favorite sit down chain restaurant is Outback Steakhouse, if for nothing else, but EVERYONE in my family finds something to eat there.


But to sit down around my dining room table surrounded by family, laughing, talking, just being together - that is my favorite place to eat.
